Information for Card Issuers
Can I Transfer Funds Between Cards in My addy Wallet?
Your addy wallet holds cards from different Exempt Market dealers that allow you to invest in their products.
Funds cannot be transferred directly between different cards within your addy wallet.
Each card in your wallet is issued and managed by its own card issuer, typically an Exempt Market Dealer (EMD). This means that the funds you load onto one card are held by that specific issuer, and they are not shared or interchangeable with other cards you may have in your wallet.
How to Move Funds Between Cards
If you’d like to move money from one card to another, you’ll need to take these steps:
-
Withdraw the funds from your current card to your linked bank account.
-
Deposit the funds from your bank account into the new card.
Why Is This Necessary?
Because each card’s balance is held by a different issuer, addy cannot transfer funds between them on your behalf. This setup helps ensure your money is kept safe under the issuer’s regulated safeguarding rules.
