How do I set up a debt issuance?

Issuances on addy can offer either equity or debt securities to the addy community, or to private investors. here's how to get started with a debt issuance.

First things first, you'll need to set up an addy Business account. This will be your main hub for hosting issuances on addy, whether it's public, private, equity, or debt. Follow this link to see how to sign up for an addy Business account, then return here to keep learning about debt issuances.

Now that you have your account, you'll need to set up an entity. On addy, you'll need to offer either common shares or limited partnership units of an entity to raise money. The underlying securities that this entity invests in can be equity or debt. See this link to see how to set up your entity.

Next, adding a property is required. Head over to this page to see how to set this up. addy is only used for raising money for real estate projects, so this is an essential step to your onboarding process.

Finally, you'll be able to start setting up the debt issuance. Head over to the "Raise Capital" tab of your addy Business account, and select "Debt" from the Instrument Type drop-down. This will change a few of the fields on this page to display metrics related to your debt offering.
