🧾 Why am I getting a “Title” error when trying to close?
You might see this error if we haven’t verified a recent land title — here’s why that matters, and what to do next.
What’s going on?
If you're seeing this message:
“Closing a public issuance requires an addy team member to verify an updated title.”
…it means we need to review the latest land title for the property before you can close the raise.
To protect our members, we verify that the property title is still clean and unchanged. This step must happen within 7 days of closing — otherwise, the title is considered stale and we’ll need a fresh copy before moving forward.
