Are there fees associated with Wire Transfer?
When transferring funds via bank wire, fees are typically charged by both the sending and receiving banks. These fees can vary depending on the bank and transaction details, so it is always recommended to verify with your bank before proceeding
For addy’s trust account, which is held at TD Bank, the following applies for incoming wire transfers:
-
Standard Incoming Wire Fee:
TD Bank charges a $17.50 processing fee for all incoming wires over $100.- This fee cannot be waived by the sending bank.
- If the sender wants to cover the fee, they must increase the wire amount by an additional $17.50 to ensure the correct total is received.
-
Wires Under $100:
For wire transfers under $100, the fee is not deducted, and the full amount is credited to the account. -
Wires from Another TD Bank Account:
Transfers from another TD Bank account are exempt from the $17.50 fee, regardless of the amount.
Please note that fees and policies related to wire transfers may change. It is recommended to verify the latest information with your bank before initiating a wire transfer.
