Information about deleting your account and eligibility to do so
If you were a paid member but have decided not to renew, nothing changes with your current investments. You do not need to delete your account to cancel a paid membership.
At addy we're always striving to provide value and ensure our members have a great experience. If you have any concerns, please reach out to us at support@addyinvest.com so we can address them!
That said, if you've decided the time has come to cancel your account, you can do so by emailing support@addyinvest.com with your request.
Please keep in mind that if you have any active investments through the addy platform, addy is unable to delete your account per CRA rules. You must maintain your investments until such time as they may exit.
Additionally, if you do not have any investments through the addy platform but have conducted financial transactions, such as a deposit to or withdrawal from your addy wallet, we are also required to keep this information for 7 years per the CRA.
