âś… What Makes a Great Property Update

Follow these guidelines to ensure your update is useful, clear, and compliant:

âś” Only include info about the specific property

âś… Do include:

  • Construction or development progress

  • New leases signed or tenants moved in

  • Budget adjustments or timeline changes

  • Photos, reports, or permits

  • Material events (e.g., refinancing, city approvals)

❌ Don’t include:

  • Updates about unrelated properties or projects

  • Future investment opportunities

  • Marketing for other offerings

âś” Be factual, not promotional

Avoid speculative or salesy language. For example:

Don’t say:

  • “This is a fantastic investment opportunity!”

  • “We expect strong returns.”

  • “More exciting deals are coming soon.”

Stick to objective updates about what’s actually happening.

âś” Be honest, clear, and to the point

  • Use short paragraphs

  • Don’t bury bad news — transparency builds trust

  • Avoid jargon or overly technical language

âś” Add visuals (optional)

Photos, renderings, or progress shots can make your update more engaging. Just make sure they’re relevant to the property.

đźš« Compliance Reminders

addy is a registered Exempt Market Dealer through its subsidiary. That means your updates must follow securities regulations.

Please remember:

  • No investment advice or recommendations

  • No return projections or promises

  • No discussion of unrelated investment opportunities

  • Only communicate about the property your investors are in
