With addy Business, dealers can now bring their own due diligence checklist into the platform — no need to work off external spreadsheets or email chains. Whether you're requesting legal structures, property reports, or compliance docs, our checklist feature lets you collect and track everything in one place.

This feature supports:

  • 📄 Custom document names

  • 💬 Tooltip explanations

  • 🧠 Conditional logic (e.g., "only show this if it's a Development deal")

  • ✅ Completion tracking across issuers


🧾 How to Submit Your Checklist

You send us a spreadsheet, and we do the setup for you. Here’s what to include:

1. Document List (one per row)

Use clear names like “Certificate of Incorporation” or “Appraisal – Final”. This is what will appear in the platform.

2. Tooltip (optional but recommended)

Add a short description or instruction for each doc, like:

"Upload the LP agreement signed by all general partners"

These tooltips show up directly inside the addy checklist to guide issuers and keep things moving.

3. Conditionals (optional)

If a document only applies in certain scenarios, include that too. Examples:

  • “Only request if entity_type = Limited Partnership”

  • “Only needed if project_type = Development”

We’ll build these into the logic so issuers only see what they need to upload.

Yes — tooltips are visible to issuers to reduce back-and-forth. Conditionals work quietly behind the scenes, so issuers only see what applies to them.

What if I forget a document?

Just email us an update. We can add it to your existing checklist or make it optional — as long as you’re within your monthly change window, it’s covered.
