addy Employees
If I invest in a US property will I have any USD tax implications?
Will I have USD tax responsibilities?
No. Currently when a Canadian resident addy member chooses to invest in a property offered for USD, they are still investing in a Canadian entity. This entity then handles the US-side of the investment.
Any taxes applicable to a Canadian resident addy member will continue to apply as per other tax support articles. As always, we encourage you to consult independent tax or legal advice for any concerns.
