This onboarding process outlines the key steps you need to complete in order to raise capital using the addy platform. Under our updated model, addy facilitates technical onboarding and data collection, while your dealer is responsible for due diligence and final regulatory approval.
Important:
addy cannot launch your campaign until your dealer has completed their review and provided formal approval.
🟢 Milestone 1: Set Up Your addy Business Account
Your addy Business account is the central hub for your offering. This is where you’ll manage your documents, bank connections, and deal details.
To complete this milestone:

Activate your addy Business account

Ensure your licensing invoice is paid

Connect the bank account that will receive investor funds

Review the onboarding checklist in your account to understand required setup steps
📄 Milestone 2: Upload Required Due Diligence Documents
Before your dealer can begin their review, you must upload all documentation necessary for the addy system and the dealer to operate.
To complete this milestone:

Upload all required documents to your addy Business account

Include legal, financial, corporate, and property materials as outlined in the onboarding checklist

Ensure documents are complete, current, and clearly labeled

🤝 Milestone 3: Collaborate With Your Dealer for Review and Sign-Off
Once documents are uploaded, your dealer begins their formal due diligence process. They will review your materials and may request changes before signing off on your raise.
To complete this milestone:

Respond to any requests or questions from your dealer

Make any required changes to your Offering Documents

Ensure all compliance requirements are fully satisfied
Reminder:
Only your dealer can approve your campaign for launch. addy cannot publish your deal until your dealer provides written sign-off.
📢 Milestone 4: Finalize Campaign Page and Launch Setup
Once dealer approval is received, you can prepare for launch.
To complete this milestone:

Enter all public-facing information in your addy Business account (e.g. investment highlights, photos, FAQs)

Confirm all terms and funding instructions are accurate

Preview your campaign to confirm everything is correct
