[General](https://learning.addyinvest.com/information-for-members?hsLang=en#general) # The Dealing Representative denied my investment - what are my options? ## What to do if the Dealing Rep denies your investment There are many reasons why a [Dealing Rep](https://learning.addyinvest.com/what-is-an-exempt-market-dealer-emd?hsLang=en) may deny your investment.  - You have invested more than 10% of your net financial assets - You have exceeded an annual limit - Other reason as declared by the Dealing Rep You should always respond to the Dealing Rep so you can be certain as to why the denial, and to ask advice. If your investment is denied, you can choose to remedy it in a number of ways - If denied because the amount is too high, see if you qualify as an [Accredited Investor](https://learning.addyinvest.com/can-accredited-investors-invest-with-addy?hsLang=en) to obtain a higher limit -
