      What are the categories for classifying a distribution?

      When issuing a distribution, you need to classify the type of distribution that is being sent. This is used to populate T5 and T5013 slips.

      There are 6 categories:
      1. Rental Income
      2. Business Income
      3. Capital Gains
      4. Return of Capital
      5. Interest
      6. Other - this is only used if you plan to categorize the distribution at the end of the year. This is rarely used.
