What is a “Notice of Asset Release”?

A funding portal collect funds raised by an issuer in its crowdfunding capital raise in trust for the issuer. After the closing of the crowdfunding capital raise, the funding portal will release such funds held in trust to the issuer. The funding portal has to notify the investors in the crowdfunding capital raise of such release of funds to the issuer within 15 days of its closing. This notification is referred to as “Notice of Asset Release”.
