What is the minimum investment per investor field and how does it work?

As a private issuer, you get to choose your minimum investment amount.

Although addy Business helps to automate all the expensive parts of fundraising, you may still want to impose a minimum investment to your investors.

Where is this displayed to investors?

When an investor is reviewing your offering on the addy platform, they will be able to see the minimum investment required in addition to the price per security. They will also see this while they are completing their purchase.

How does it work?

When an investor is first investing in your project, their initial transaction must be above the minimum amount. If they have already invested in your project on addy and surpassed the minimum investment requirement, they will be able to invest less than the minimum in subsequent transactions.

For example, if you set your minimum at $10,000 and your investor has submitted a transaction for $25,000, they may top that up to $30,000 in a future transaction of $5,000. addy Business helps you to automatically manage multiple transactions per investor.
