Why are dividends processing right into my linked bank account instead of my addy wallet?
Some recent changes around how dividends are processed
At addy, we’re always working to make real estate investing more accessible, transparent, and compliant. As we continue to evolve, we must make some changes to how we handle investor funds intended for future or potential investments.
We understand that many of you prefer the convenience of keeping funds within your addy wallet for reinvestment. However, due to regulatory considerations, holding client funds—even dividends—may be interpreted as managing client assets, which comes with oversight requirements. This means that, moving forward, dividends will be sent directly to your bank account rather than retained in your addy wallet for future investments.
We recognize that this change may require some adjustments, and we truly appreciate your understanding. Our goal remains the same: to provide you with seamless, compliant, and secure real estate investment opportunities. If you have any questions, our team is here to help.
