If you're unable or prefer not to link a bank account using Plaid, you may be eligible to withdraw funds from your addy wallet by cheque. This option is reserved for specific scenarios and carries a manual processing fee.
✅ Eligibility Requirements
Cheque withdrawals are not issued by default and are only approved if all the following conditions are met:
- Funds Have Cleared
- The requested withdrawal amount must have cleared the 7-business-day hold period and be fully settled in the addy trust account.

- Valid Use Case
Your situation must fit at least one of the following:
- You're withdrawing to a different bank account than the one used to fund your wallet.

📬 How to Request a Cheque Withdrawal
If you're eligible and would still like to proceed with a cheque withdrawal:
1. Email Support
Send a request to support@addyinvest.com with the following:
- The withdrawal amount
- Your reason for requesting a cheque
- Your current mailing address (must match your addy profile)
2. Verification
Our support team will review your request. We may contact you to confirm identity or request supporting documents.
3. Approval & Processing
If approved:
- You’ll receive a confirmation email.
- Your cheque will be mailed to your verified address.
- Processing may take up to 21 business days.
🔄 Can I Cancel My Request?
Yes — if the cheque hasn’t been processed yet. To cancel, reply to your support email thread as soon as possible.
❓ Didn't Receive Your Cheque?
If your cheque hasn’t arrived within 21 days of the confirmation email, contact us for follow-up. We will verify whether the cheque has been deposited or misplaced.

- Cheques cannot be sent to third-party addresses.
- If there’s suspicious activity or the request doesn’t meet compliance standards, it may be declined.
- Once deposited, all cheque transactions are final.
