This guide is intended to be your jumping-off point to get started with raising capital on addy. You can use the addy Business platform to automate your paperwork and transactions from private investors, then rinse-and-repeat for any future campaigns. Before you start...

Step 1: Create an addy account
Visit this link to create your addy account, if you have not already done so. If you already have an addy account that you use for investing, feel free to skip this step.
Step 2: Create an addy Business account
addy Business is your gateway to controlling all the details for your issuance. This is the software that you will use to upload legal documents, process transactions, and invite investors. Click here to learn how to sign up for an addy Business account.
Step 3: Create an entity
Once your addy Business account has been created, you'll need to add a legal entity that you'll be using for this issuance. Click here to learn how to add an entity to your addy Business account.
Step 4: Add a property
Once your entity is created, the first step is to add the property to that entity that your issuance will be raising money for. Click here to learn how to add a property.
Step 5: Complete the "Private Issuance Status Checklist"
Navigate to the Raise Capital tab of your addy Business account, and start completing the Private Issuance Status Checklist. You can simply click on each item to be directed to the field to complete, and click in the info tags to learn more about each input and why it is necessary.
Step 8: Review the Subscription Agreement
addy uses a template subscription agreement that will automatically populate with your information from your addy Business account. Please familiarize yourself with the agreement by clicking here.
Step 7: Mark your issuance "Coming Soon" or "For Sale"
Once you are ready to launch your issuance to your investors, change the status from "Hidden" to "Coming Soon" or "For Sale". To learn more about what each status means, click here.
Step 8: Invite private investors
Now you're ready to start inviting your investors to the issuance, where they can view the details for your issuance and/or invest. To learn how to complete this step, click here.
